Personal Biodata

Joe Tomaselli started his initial career in the pharmaceutical industry. He began his career in R&D, and progressed to management positions in product manufacturing and pharmaceutical distribution and became an entrepreneur.

Joe applied his experience to the challenges of working in large organizational settings in the private sector, including more than ten years in the BorgWarner organization, in their large diversified services organization of 75,000 employees. Joe held several key roles in sales and operations and advanced with increasing P&L responsibilities from line and business unit management levels to corporate executive. As a general manager he was responsible revenue and profit contribution. Joe later took on the role of corporate change agent, becoming the senior HR organizational development/organizational effectiveness executive. He focused on large system change, talent management, leadership development, standardizing selection, assessment training and development and succession planning and improving people strategies for seven business units. Throughout these efforts, Joe served as advisor and internal coach and consultant for business unit executive teams.

Joe has consulting experience working in diverse corporate environments and has successfully developed strategic OD/OE consulting initiatives including design and implementation of leadership development programs and strategic human resource development initiatives.

Joe is a successful executive coach and systems-oriented consultant with broad business background. He helps individuals and teams better understand themselves and recognize the interdependent integrity of one’s relationship to others and develop leaders to more fully use their capacities and resources while mastering their environment.

Joe has an MA in counseling psychology from CW Post College, LIU, and did his post-graduate training in psychology at New York University. He obtained his BS in pharmacy and pharmacology from LIU. Joe is certified in several assessment instruments, and is a member of the International Registry of Associate Consultants.
