Haldane Davies, PhD, is a self-motivated and goal oriented professional with successful experience in higher educational administration and leadership, human resources, academic and corporate consulting, research, and teaching. He holds significant and varied experience in strategic planning, quality assurance, performance management and measurement, project and office management, alternative dispute resolution, capacity building, conflict management, curriculum innovation, academic technology enhancement, and financial analysis. Haldane is Managing Director of Orion Consultancy Services and serves as consultant to numerous public and private sector organizations.
Dr Davies' career in the private and public sectors has provided him extensive experience in planning and managing multi-million dollar higher educational projects and programs, while gaining considerable experience working with project teams from program inception to program delivery and stakeholder reporting. He is innovative, articulate, and persuasive, with excellent skills in team building, communication, negotiation and human relations.
Haldane's educational background spans a wide area of learning and experiences. In addition to earning a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Administration from Andrews University, he also holds a Masters degree in Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Theology. He is a certified mediator and trainer; certified ESA reviewer; and certified competency assessor.
Haldane also holds certificates in social network analysis, conflict resolution, administrative management, effective negotiating, educational management and supervision, and management of lifelong education from institutions including Harvard University, Cornell University, and the University of the West Indies. He is also a much sought after motivational speaker and seminar presenter.
