Kelly Karius is a dynamic facilitator and insightful service provider, with ten years of conflict management work experience. Her social work degree provides a sound basis for understanding the dynamics of conflict and conflict resolution. She is a powerful listener who can break down even the most complicated emotional situations into manageable pieces. Kelly integrates the idea of different personality types working well together into much of her training. She uses real-life stories to illustrate her points. Her seminars are fun and engaging, and have been called life-changing.
Kelly's practice is focused on providing training and consulting to assist businesses in maintaining emotionally healthy workplaces. Kelly is also an expert witness to the Saskatchewan Court of Queen's Bench in issues relating to the custody and access of children.
Kelly is the author of This is Out of Control! A Practical Guide to Managing Life's Conflicts. This easy-to-read book is intended to provide clear ideas and solutions for managing conflict, resolving conflict and changing perceptions when necessary. Copies of, or excerpts from, the book are frequently used in Kelly's training sessions. She is an expert in creating seminars that are custom-made for her client's organization. Experienced in web-based training, she maintains services with webex.com to facilitate distance training sessions.
Kelly is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers, Conflict Resolution Saskatchewan, Women Entrepreneurs, and the Saskatchewan Writer's Guild. She was honored to receive the 2007 Saskatchewan Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics and Integrity in Business in the Professional Services category.
